September 11, 2015 -- Visit to Longwood Gardens

An evening visit to Longwood Gardens, with a talk on tropical platters (Victoria lilies) by Tim Jennings. He will show us how they fertilize, propagate, and grow these tropical wonders.We will also see night-blooming lilies as well as all the other beautiful gardens. Members can also experience the "Nightscape" light show after 8:30 PM. (http://longwoodgardens.org/nightscape)

Longwood Gardens is waiving the fees for entrance to the gardens and to the NightScape event for DVWGS members. Email Victor if you plan to attend so that he can arrange for your tickets.

PIck up tickets at the Central Ticketing office any time on Friday, September 11. The talk about water platters and night-blooming lilies will be in the Conservatory starting at 7:00 PM.
