DVWGS members enjoyed a sociable lunch at the Springfield Country Club. thanks to our speaker, John Volpa of Pinelands Adventures, who gave a fascinating talk on the history and importance of the New Jersey Pinelands. Lucky raffle winners went home with beautiful baskets of "swag" prepared by Anne Pierce and other prizes. Don Carpenter, who has taken the lead on construction and design of our 2020 PHS Flower Show exhibit introduced the exhibit concept and planning. After the lunch some members visited Don's garden where he has constructed a mock-up of the exhibit.
